Default So you want an item made?

Figured I'd post letting everyone know what some of the "norms" are for this practice. So if anyone has questions but they feel silly asking, well here ya go!

These are GENERALLY accepted norms, not RULES or policies, just something good to keep in mind.

#1. Have a good idea what you're looking for - In general don't go messaging crafters giving them blanket statements like, "what can you make that's good?" As a crafter, these are tells I promptly ignore. Chances are this person doesn't have the mats or any money to pay for the items requested if they even request anything after you've listed out everything you can make.

#2. If you're looking for a specific item expect to supply the mats yourself - Chances are if it's not in the auction house, you'll need to get it done by request. In situations like this don't start spamming that you want someone to make the item for you, find out what the materials are and attain them yourself. It's much easier to get a crafter to make something when YOU supply the mats, in fact in many cases it's expected that you supply them.

#3. Tip your crafter/enchanter! - Now you can get away with not doing it if they're a guildmate. For instance, I never expect guildmates to tip. However, if it's just some random person, be nice tip them what you can. Crafting. specifically high-level crafting, is NOT easy and it VERY time consuming. This will also make the crafter a lot more likely to help you in the future, and a reliable crafter is a GREAT asset.

#4. Supply the combination fuel yourself - Almost every profession need at least one store bought item to combine... Make sure you add these items in when you supply materials for the item creation. Just cause it's a pain in the butt for the crafter to keep running back to buy more, and while they're cheap, like everything else it adds up.

More items to come
