I had this same problem, I think Moonshine told me how to fix it. Go to your "options" menu, then click on the "video" tab, then go to "advanced". Your "Texture Detail" should be on "high". When mine is on medium i get these same problems.

Nice find. Does this work for older versions of dod_bouddha? The trees were all messed up looking and I have my detail on high.

Perhaps the screenies just looked similar to what I recall, but not the same.

If upgrading\downgrading your Video card drivers doesn't fix the problem, changing the DX_Level will probably fix it.

Right click on your game in the Steam "Games"\"My Games" menu...
Select "Properties"... click\enter
Click on "Set Launch Options..."
Type in "-dxlevel xx"
Click "Ok"
Click "Close"

There ya go...

Oh, but wait
The option should not really be "-dxlevel xx"
You need to replace the xx with one DirectX Level
lower than your current DirectX Level.

Seeing that DOD:S only supports DX8, DX9, and DX10 cards...
The only settings that your could possibly do.
"-dxlevel 80, 81, 90, 95"

That may fix your problem.
