Windows XP SP3 Released!

I just saw an update notifier to update my Windows XP to Service Pack 3... Find out more information about it here:

I'm shocked. I assumed they would only dish out updates for Vista from now on.

Why don't you go ahead and download that bad boy and let me know if you have any trouble running stuff afterwards? That would be great!

Leave this one alone for now guys, I've been reading VERY mixed reviews on this.
It's installed ok on some PCs, but I've been reading that under some circumstances some will not boot into windows after SP3 is installed.

my computer keeps telling me it has updates ready to install but I am awaiting to hear if it screws anything up first hahaha

Works fine for me also. Made a cpl UI Mods I have not run, but no biggy.. Back to ugly windows desktop for now.

I never update windows until a month or two so they can get all the bugs work out.

Update, It was a long ass install but, after that I have not run into any problems.

in fact, unless it was something else, my in game sound for dods has gotten so loud that it hurts my ear(half deaf).

If that it true then I am loving the new update.
