Windows XP SP3 Released!

Downloaded SP3 and everything seems to be running fine.

Ive been running the leaked version for about a month with no problems, except mstsc.exe (terminal services - remote desktop) wouldn't work, it would say "the pre-release version of remote desktop has expired". Installed the release version and havent had a single problem.

I have installed it on my laptop without issue. It seems to install fairly quickly on a reasonably powered machine. It's interesting to note that on reboot I was prompted to confirm my auto update settings from what looked like the old setup screen (early in the boot.) I would be cautious to install remotely without having access to the console to confirm the settings as I would bet RDP service is not running at the confirmation.

It didnt fix my loop problem but I have had no issues with it!

No issues here. Got it with XP Pro when I built new this past Friday. Fine all weekend.

Been running it for a little while now...no issues...stable. Don't know about a 10% increase in performance(read in a review at Sudhian.com), but no drop in performance either. No complaints. Vista sucks, this is why they have continued to release service packs for XP. Dell and HP I believe have gone back to offering XP. Microsoft is being forced. They have even been forced to reconsider pulling XP out of the stores as early as they would have liked.
