Most likely it'll be in the mapping-modding-tweaking section. Rest assured, we'll make sure you all know when the time comes.

Hi Everyone!

First let me thank Palin for doing a fantastic job by himself with the maps. He really has set the bar for mapping here and I appreciate it.

Myself and Blue will be talking very shortly and will get started with the small mountain of duties that mapping entails. We will try to give an audience to all requests and decide on the most effecient way to do things. Please understand that we are both learning however, so our first steps may be small. But I assure you we will be up and running fullspeed quickly.

I hope that together Blue and I can surpass all expectations and set a new standard for OWS servers.

Feel free to keep new ideas rolling in, I'd love to hear them. (Doesn't mean they will be implemented, but may spur us in a new direction!)

I really like what I'm hearing! Both of you are very dedicated members and I feel that mapping is in good hands (not that Palin didn't do a great job himself, but making it a bit easier on him seems like an excellent idea.)

As for the screenshot idea, I think that's a great idea, I too sometimes have trouble putting a map with a name. I think in order to make it really recognizable, either multiple screenshots or a quick video showing the layout could help. Some of the newer maps rarely come up because people tend to vote for maps they know they like, so it might give them a fighting chance.

I would also like to extend my Thank You to Palin for an Excellent job!! I would also like to say thank you to him for doing what needed to be done in regards to reigning in some of the foolishness/rudeness that have been occurring on the OWS -TF2 servers recently. What he did was done for the good of TF2. And no one here should see it as otherwise. He cared enough to do something about it. No fault can be found with that.

Also, if everyone sees something cool on another TF2 server be sure to get the IP of the server and get it to Palin, or Ateit. They will research what it is, and how we can get it.

Do what? If you find a cool mod, just send it my way or to AteIt. We're online almost all day anyhow. My steam client is always open, so messaging me there is the best way to reach me or via pm here on the site.
