Racial Slurs tolerated in-game?

Silverburst likes to call people "******".

Admins called it a warning.

I left my last community because the admin used that word.

I was happy with my "new" one because it wasn't tolerated.

Yet... it is?

Maybe I need another new community.

Wonder why I don't join a clan so fast?


There's part of the answer.

I'll play here for a little longer while you figure out how much to embrace this behavior. A week maybe and then I'm off to places I ping better. And maybe don't find clan members calling people ******s.

No, that word is neither tolerated on our servers nor our forums. Silverburst will be contacted. Thank you for making us aware of his behavior.

However, I do not like the tone of your post, nor the fact that you titled your thread with the word (I've changed it). Try talking with us before attacking next time, it leaves a sour taste in our mouths.

Never tolerated...by your first post I was like somewhat confused. Thought we were going to get a rash of "I dont like this, you cant even provide cheese for my whine!" kinda approach but if what was said in your 2nd post is what happened then most definitely, that is not acceptable on any of our gameservers nor site!

Sorry..not to be disrespectful in any way...but Ive been seeing alot of posts of "I dont like this so I'm out" etc.

Anyone that has a disagreement and is in the community...needs to be more specific in their posting, post it..get feed back by all means and make sure you leave room for allowing some sort of feeback..ultimatums will get you nowhere quick! But make sure your being understood in what your feedback is.

Because? The upper management will take everything into consideration and help to fix any problems that are not within OWS standards.

We dont put everyone through a voting process to become recruit then just give them membership for any reason. There is a meaning behind all the rules that have been implemented as well as guidelines for each member to follow.

Well MoonMaster was tossing similar racist crap around last month and the only reason I stuck around was the fact he left.

We (on the servers) joked about how when you have 300 members, statistics prove that 4 are going to be racist and 1 is going to be a child molester.

I'm not here to say who *that* is but... you guys recruit with the same fervor as Hare Krishna and while your recruit period is months long, it is still going to let people through you have no idea about.

Funny thing is I had just said "congrats SB" to him for getting into OWS, five minutes before he drops the N-bomb.

Now I'll never share a map with him.

Doesn't complicate my life that much... plenty of other servers out there.


I appreciate (some of) you taking it a little more serious than using a weapon during a mellee-only glitch.

I have never ever heard Moon_Master use any racial slurs ingame. I know him in real life and have known him for about 4-5 years. He isn't the racist type.

Normally the people that run this place, would say thanks begin looking into it and investigating. We don't ban people on a whim here, and you didn't provide any screen shots with text or game demos with voice.

I've seen Ruger ban people with racially offensive names before they are even able to finish logging into the server.. No one was calling you a liar, but you came in here with this attitude of entitlement, so I'm inclined to agree with Ruger.

Nice playing with you while it lasted. Sorry you feel so strongly, Tonus... I would have loved to have helped, but I didn't get home quickly enough to hear what happened, investigate, and fix it.

Management has a timetable for stuff like this. :-\
