Motherboard Meltdown

Hey guys, I know as an app I'm supposed to be on as much as possible, but I've kindof hit a snag these last few days. I ordered a new processor for my computer and while taking the liquid cooling block I have on my processor off I spilled some of it on my motherboard. Needless to say, the computer does not work. I ordered a new mobo and it should be here tuesday July 1st. I will get it set up as soon as possible. The only good part of this is I was smart enough to have my mobo out of the case with all parts removed so the only thing ruined was the mobo and maybe the old processor. Well, see you guys later.

Update: I got my new parts and have them installed, but I also just moved into a new rental so I'm going to be cleaning up for a while. Also since this is my first upgrade, of course it's not going smoothly and I'm having some trouble with the cpu. It tends to think its overheating even when its not so as soon as I get it sorted out I will be back to playing on a regular basis.

Update: The motherboard decided to crash and not load the bios after I attempted to update the bios. I tried this because of system instability. I am returning it to newegg and getting a replacement. Hopefully I will get it and be able to set it up before the weekend.

Alright time for another update. I changed my RMA to a refund, which newegg was very nice of newegg and they even waived the restocking fee, and ordered a new case, PSU, and of course, Mobo. The new case is the NZXT Tempest. An awesome mid tower case that can hold an e-atx mobo and comes with 4-120mm fans and two 140mm fans, all for the low price of $109. Now that is a really good deal. PSU is cooler maser real power pro 850w and mobo is EVGA 750i FTW edition. Hopefully all arrives safely on Wednesday and I can have it set up by Thursday, in the meantime I'm reduced to playing on my bros old dell when he's not home.

Btw I was able to pay for this upgrade because some lady driving on a suspended lisence dropped her cigarette and whilst reaching down to get it sideswiped my car and totalled it. Luckily no one was injured and her insurance company paid me $2800 for a car I paid $1500 for last year. So I'm probably going to buy the exact same car at the same place I bought my car last year for only $1300 this year and the rest is going towards savings and computer upgrades.

Man I wish somebody had sideswiped my car a long time ago

Update: So I got all of my parts now. They are all connected and running, but then vista had trouble so, I formatted the hard drive. My network is also giving me trouble and refusing to let me connect to the internet, so I can't download the drivers or install steam I do have a wireless card I can use to steal a neighbors internet however. Hopefully the updated drivers will let me connect with enough strength to do this fairly quickly and then I can get my high speed internet working and get back to pwning you all in TF2

Lucky duck. I got swiped and never got repairs because they won't let you use intersection cameras for evidence. And no one stopped as a witness. Gotta love honest people!

ok, so I had to work today and so did my bro who is also my housemate (housemate because we both rent the house, but we each have our own rooms). So the first delivery couldn't be signed by anyone. The second delivery (as far as I know) hasn't been attempted yet, hopefully I can make it home before then. If not, I may have to wait a couple days till I can be there when it is delivered.

I finally got a motherboard that works (For now!! ~crosses fingers~) but I had to format my hard drive cuz vista was screwing up so hopefully I will have tf2 installed and updated before the end of the night. Also, i am getting a car tomorrow
