Music on =1= servers!

When I'm playing Counter Strike i love playing with music in some servers, u just pick the music and listen to it instead of listening to " PEOPLE TALKING" lol


is a Option, it erases the people talking on the background, and let u listen to ya favorite artist and have fun, without Muting nobody. i dunno where or how u put the music on our servers, but i think it will b a good idea, it will make our servers more attractive, since there is none other tf2 server with this option that i know off.

any ways, i just wanned to put this option on the table, there's been to much complains about people talking in our servers to much, and to b honest it gets annoying sometimes, it doesn't let u concentrate that much.

I thought Wabbit just wants to listen to music personally, not broadcast it throughout the whole server.

I think there's a Sourcemod radio plugin floating around somewhere.

well in the servers that i play on CS, the music is personal, u have an option on the menu when u wanna change team or spectator, there is an option to play music, and it does it fast, it download in 3 seconds, is not broadcast to everybody in the server at the same time, but it can if u want to.

U have a big list of artists and songs, etc and u just click on the one u like and have fun =]. is not loud so u can still hear whats going on in the game.

OR instead of taking up server resources with a mod why not just start up your favorite music player and pick a playlist of some music you like before you start your game.

Meh, I think people want a way to switch quickly in between music and chat. So when things get boring you can just type a command to bring up some music. I've seen that people respond a lot less to text chat than voice chat though, so if you want your team to do something it can be a slight hinderance. Still, it's everyone's choice whether or not to listen I suppose. I'd be all for it as long as it wasn't too difficult to implement and it doesn't take too many server resources.
