Hello guys. I anm not really used to post these kinds of messages and as sopme of you might know, English is not my mothertongue. So i will do my best to exxplain how i feel.

Ii am posting this message to tell my desapointment about what i saw yesterday on the OWS TF2 server.

First we wer playing a map called something like TF22 achievements that the puprpose is clearly to complete the achievements the quiquest possble. In my point of view, this is like cheating. Furthermore, people where expliaining how to unlock all the achievements using the console and some of therm were treating Valve of Noobs.

Tgis is clearly not what i expected to see when i joined our clan and i consider what i mentioenned as cheating. I know that a few members were on-line at this time, I do not remember who they were.

After having seen this, I am not sure you will see me again on the TF2 server.

Just to answer part of your statement, the way to unlock all the achievements using the console has been fixed by Valve, now if we had OWS members using and telling other how to do it, I am sadden by this and hope members would show OWS in a better light.

I tried out server 7 this morning and don't really care for it, all people do is camp with a heavy and spam kill the spawns.

at one point I had to pick up pyro just to clear them out and it still put a bad taste in my mouth.

You would just stop playing because of a command that VALVE posted on there on website??? Little extreme maybe? I see not liking it and voicing your concerns, but...

So here is my thought process for this horrible map.

Some of the achievements are next to impossible to get. Have you read through them all? So I knew there would be a large influx of new players in TF2, and I wanted to capitalize on this with a server directed at those new people. I also turned on 1 more server for the TF2 free weekend.

Just to note that server has had players in it, NON-Stop since the second it was turned on. In just a few short hours that will mean 24Hrs. Something that has never happened here. So if we get 5 people that sees our advertisements, and comes to this website, I would consider it a win. If we get 1 person coming to complain, and seeing how awesome we are, I would consider it a win.

But, I do think it is a horrible map, created for one think only as the name implies...

So if someone cares enough to rally around a cause to remove it. Please do so. Start a vote, and we will let it run till tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise it will stay till next Monday.

Following your explaimations, guys, i do understand the situation mush better ^^

I guess i went on th server on the wring tie and will... i did not really take time to reead these new achievements.

Although I'm all for achievements and helping others get them, is it really necessary to have one of our servers dedicated to JUST getting achievements ASAP?

The night the TF2 update was released, the teams were usually about 8 medics, and a hanful of other classes... I played lastnight (with the acheivement server up elsewhere) and I saw 3 medics... It's evening it all out...

Instead of playing "Medic Fortress" we are playing TF2 again. People are impatient and want things NOW. If they want it that badly why not supply it, get a few people see our corner of the internet and have the other servers go back to normal?

I'm not about to join the medic achievement server, but it does help keep the natural flow of things going. I agree it's a horrible map and a cop-out, but it keeps the other servers fun and enjoyable, and I think that's a fair trade-off.

Wait, Valve TOLD people about it and then took it away, wtf, that is so fu**ing lame..way to go valve, give the lil' cheaters a free pass.
