Help

I was messing around with bindings and accidentally unbound z, x, and c the voice menus

can someone tell me I need to enter to rebind them to their corresponding menus?

One option might be going into your keyboard options and click "defaults". I would think that would restore them, along with all your other buttons. Then you could just rebind as needed.

Or you could just go to your keyboard settings and NOT hit default!?

All you need to do is find the voice menu 1, 2, and 3 options in the keyboard options and set them as desired.

darn it,
I've been looking all over the internet for what the commands are

but the answer was so easy, I feel dumb for forgetting I could customize the keyboard in the game

thanks to that, I discovered a few over commands I had inadvertently deleted
who knew the "m" and "i" key did something?
I must've overwritten those a long time ago

Post Voice Command Binding

I noticed a question that come up in our servers about binding keys to a specific voice command so I thought others might benefit from the answer.

There are 3 voice command menus listed in the key bindings as Voice Menu 1 (Default Z), Voice Menu 2 (Default X) and Voice Menu 3 (Default C).

**To bind these following commands you need to turn on the Developer's Console in the Options > Keyboard [opened tab] > Advanced... [button on bottom] > Enable Developer Console [checked]

Bring up the Developer's Console by pressing ` (tilde) next to the 1 key, and type the following:

bind [key of choice] "voicemenu #1 #2"

Number of menu = #1
Voice Menu 1 = 0
Voice Menu 2 = 1
Voice Menu 3 = 2

Number of voice option = #2
[Menu 1 / 2 / 3 = #]
MEDIC! / Incoming / Help = 0
Thanks! /Spy! / Battle Cry = 1
Go! Go! Go! / Sentry Ahead! / Cheers = 2
Move Up! / Teleporter Here / Jeers = 3
Go Left / Dispenser Here / Positive = 4
Go Right / Sentry Here / Negative = 5
Yes / Activate Charge! / Nice Shot = 6
No / MEDIC: ÜberCharge Ready / Good Job = 7

Examples: (binding to the letter p)

Bind "Move Up!"
bind p "voicemenu 0 3"

Bind "Spy!"
bind p "voicemenu 1 1"

Bind "Cheers"
bind p "voicemenu 2 2"

Bind "Good Job"
bind p "voicemenu 2 7"
