New Title for the Hard Core Server

I was wondering, if it might help if the Title to the HC server was changed to attract pubbers, i.e. MOD(whatever the MOD is called can't remember) HardCore Dallas, or something similar. The MOD is really great, and seems like alot of players enjoy it , we just need to get the word out, by adjusting the name . Just a thought.

Yeah that would be something that should be easy and quick to do.

Something like:

[=1=] HC x4v2 Custom Maps Dallas

ok i changed it but i left the custom maps part out until we have the maps working completely.

Sounds Good

, oh are we going to put that other weapons mod in or are we going to wait to see how the server and maps run first? That way the bugs can be worked out...

Both really. The one I tested was made for version 1.0 of the mod we are running. The developer is currently in the process of making a version for the 2.0 version of the mod. Until its completed there for sure won't be a weapons mod, at least like the one I described in my post earlier. I think the mod we are running though allows for a few weapons modifications of its own though, such as the full auto M14. I'd be interested to know what other modifications are avaliable to the weapons myself.

Ok...finally got my shit fixed. I was having problems with a directx popup when trying to join the moded server and tried what I thought was everything. I finally said screw it and totally deleted my cod4 game after backing up my player profile. Took me 3 hours to upload the game again then found that the damn punkbuster program it installed in the cod4 folder isnt worth a crap and had to dl it from evenbalance to get the correct setup then reboot my puter for it to work.

After all that shit....I found that the reason I was getting the directx popup was cause I had to have xfire turned off. Pissed me off that xfire was the cause.

Anyways...I finally got to go into the server and see what its kind of about as far as the mod and name...so I changed the name to:

[=1=]Dallas eXtreme X4 which is the appropriate name for the mod.

I posted for some help in the Mod makers site then they got hacked the next day. So when they did DB Restore my post/account was lost.

Signing up again now.. So should have an answer in a couple days.

The mod looks well built. The docs for it are atrocious.
