So, i was on the normal server today and went to spectate and I can't spectate anyone. I'm stuck in the center of the map, can just look around.

This makes policing purdy difficult.

Can anyone help?

Is that swastika in your game name?

And I just hit buttons til I get on a player, space bar, mouse button, enter, etc... Otherwise there is a command that may have to go through, unfortunately I don't know the command >.<

It is in my DOD name at the moment. Hasn't offended anyone and won't last since it doesn't show up to most. If you'd like to talk about it, send me a PM please.

No button works for me for switching players or even moving in COD4 during spectate. How frustrating to see someone's gun snap 180º and kill you yet you can't spectate to make sure you're not 'seeing things'.

Now, I've not had a chance to test this, but it seems that i remember that if you pick the team you want to spec, then hit back at the bottom when choosing your class (or maybe esc), then you might be able to spec all the players on said team.

I know I did it once, just not sure exactly how.

I've been on several severs that allow you to roam around the map at will. I believe it's a command that the Higher-ups have to implement in the server itself. Now I don't know if this would make the server unranked thou, I want to say I doubt it.

Spec is turned off since you couldnt allow certain groups. But you can join a team and go back to spec like Cujo said.

Yes, you can ... but I've seen it where you can roam around the entire map watching both sides from afar.

Yes, but as Ruger said, the freecam feature is disabled.
