Default Strat Guide Explanation

Everyone, I wanted to provide an explanation for the strat guide and how to use it, since I didn't really have the opportunity to do that on Sunday.

The Strat Guide idea came about from the fact that we have very limited upload privileges here and I would of had to host the files elsewhere anyway. I started my own company this year and we do website hosting and design and use a Framework called Drupal as the backend. Drupal offers a module called book which is what I am using on this guide. It allows me to move the pages around change order, etc as we need. I wanted to use this to avoid having to worry about non-clan members going through our strats as well. This way we can have our strats in on centralized spot for all league members to access.

So how to use it, first the maps. The maps are going to be near impossible to read from the website so I have it set up where you can download the map images to your computer and then be able to zoom in as you like. I have also set it up where everyone can provide comments. So if you think there is a problem with a Strat or have some additional info to donate by all means post a comment. I am not perfect and neither are my strats but hopeful with everyone commenting on the things that don't work we can improve them. I am doing a comment review about once a week right now and so far we've had one, thanks Unseen. The point here is that by no means is my way the only way I am always open to ideas and suggestions. If you have an idea for a strat type it up in a comment for that map and the bomb location.

Last feature and the one I like the most is that Drupal offers a printer friendly option at the bottom (by the Add New Comments) if you select this on the Cover page it will give you the entire Strat Guide in a Printer Friendly format that you can use adobe or Microsoft format to save it to a pdf or xps(I think) file. Or you can Select all and paste it into Word or something. Same with the Chapters if you select Chapter 2 (which is what we are going over this week) and hit the Printer Friendly option it will do the same for just that chapter.

I hopes this helps everyone and it's my way of contributing. I am always open to questions or comments. I didn't mean to freak anyone out last week with the Assignment before practice thing, I just thought it was funny.

The website is OWSGC COD4 CAL Strat Guide
