COD4 just punched me in the face.

bleh. When i bought COD4 I sped up to 55 and did most of the challenges and then my play time was cut heavily but school and work. Yesterday I go to jump into a server only to find out my profile is missing. I havent touched it in about a month or so and now I'm back at level 1 (well 12 now). Anyone else had this problem?

Had it happen once but probably cause I deleted my cache or whatever...but Ive always copied my players/profile file to another location since then just for backup.

No I haven't but I always make a copy of my player folder/config file anyway.

It only takes a couple of weeks to reach 55... It shouldn't be much time lost.

I should go back mine up eh? I just finally hit like 45 and am playing around with "dead silence" with UAV jammer and silenced weapons. It would piss me off to lose even this much let alone lvl 55

yea I'm working my way back up atm. Up to 16 in 3h 15m. I need to back up my computer anyway, just got a 500gb external.

Hope this isn't to dumb a question but does the PC version rollover like the 360 version? I know on the 360 when you hit 55 and then get more xp it starts you back at level 1 with nothing but your rank icon changes to indicate you've made through to 55 once before. The more times you make it through it has multiple icons you can acquire. Wasn't sure if it did that on the PC or not.

I honestly wouldn't mind resetting every so often. When you get everything, it's kind of a bummer that there are no more advancements.
