Youtube tip...

Found this on some other forums:

You can watch the un-compressed "high quality" version of any video on youtube by adding "&fmt=18" at the end of the video link. Even on some videos that don't have "high quality" according to youtube.

(arg, no example, forum system keeps embedding the players and the embedded ones don't show the change)

It would have to be added the the script I have on this site. I really dont see much diff making it worthwhile to add.

I appreciate the difference in quality, but you can achieve the same thing by changing the video quality setting on your YouTube account, FYI.

There's a couple videos that the account setting doesn't apply to.

Ruger, I'll admit, a lot of videos really are crap quality, on some of them it's a hug difference.

Not the greatest example, but you can see and hear the difference:

(remove the space)

Note that youtube doesn't have the option to watch a bettter quality version if you use the normal link.

Sorry to bring this up again, was watching videos and found one that you can see it like night and day (no, wasn't looking on purpose, stumbled across it).
