IF IT HURTS EAT ICE POPs and icecream MAN... THAT ALWAYS HELPS. OR hit yourself on the foot. that would get your mind of the pain in the mouth.

I think people exaggerate over wisdom teeth pain

it wasn't that bad for me, and I remember the doctor had to stitch up two of them, so those 2 must've been bad

hope you like soup, cause you'll be eating that for a while

Seriously, a method for lowering tooth pain that seems to work for me.

Put an icecube\icebag (probably best wrapped in paper towels\cloth) on the webbing of the skin between your Thumb and Index finger...

The nerve tissue of that area corresponds with nerve tissue in the face and jaw, and by numbing the webbing on the hand, the brain is confused and deadens the pain in both areas.

I don't see why it wouldn't work in everyone, as there are proven accounts of people getting shot in one part of the body, and Scar tissue forming in a corresponding area, as well as the wound... A similar phenomenon.

They're not bad. I didn't take any pain pills after I left the doctor's office. They hurt a bit in the mornings. You'll be fine.

Heh, when I had mine out in 2000, I got a dry socket that exhausted me. I was looking for a job then, away from home. I found some clove oil at a vitamin shop, and that took care of the pain and kept it from getting infected until I could get to a doc. I slept a lot during that time until I got back home.

He just packed it with cotton, gave me antibiotics. And some good drugs to keep me numb.

I wish he'd stitched it up, it left a whole that caused a cavity, holy crap, sorry for all the bad news.

Just rest and take it easy, don't go looking for a new job a long ways from home.
