How to connect to private slot

In console type

/password "rug3r" and then /connect 8.2.0.11

This will allow you to connect via a reserved slot.

You can create another shortcut & edit the target line to this:

"C:Program FilesActivisionCall of Duty 4 - Modern Warfareiw3mp.exe"
+password rug3r +connect 8.2.0.11:28960

Not stepping on your toes here, but I've always done it the "Steam Friendly" way and it's always worked for me as well.

Connect 8.2.0.11:28960 password rug3r <----Insert Correct IP

Just throwing it out there.
